This will be the only change in the amount deposited by the government in the accounts of these 5.5 million citizens. It is of crucial importance to point out that the 400 reais referring to the Brazil Aid cannot be reduced, at least until the month of December 2022, as the resources needed to distribute this amount are available pursuant to an agreement with the Ministry of Citizenship. Therefore, people who do not receive the benefit from the gas voucher program will not suffer any reduction in the earnings received this month.
The doubt of many is from what moment it was confirmed that the transfer of the gas voucher would be every two months, and the beneficiaries received the amount in the months of January and February, that is, for two months consecutive. The answer is that, since its inception, the project already came with this prerequisite, and the reason for people they received the amount in January is because this payment was made retroactively to December 2021.
