Candidates who failed to pass any of the two courses of interest to the SISU, can still get a place in public universities. According to Inep, those who were not approved in the regular call have from July 6 to 18 to use the waiting list for the second half of 2022.
To do so, simply express interest in one of the courses you signed up for through the program platform, where the system will issue a confirmation message.

After the regular Sisu process is completed, candidates who are interested in the waiting list should look at the requirements on the websites of the universities they are applying to. It is even important to be very attentive, since there are no established numbers of call lists or schedules in this modality. In addition, they should also depend on the number of vacancies that will be offered by the institutions.
Furthermore, not all courses are part of the waiting list, as the vacancies offered in this phase are those that already existed in the first call, but which were not filled. Therefore, if all interested candidates duly complete the course, a new call will not be necessary. Inep also makes clear the importance of cut-off grades, especially since they are a little lower.
According to specialists, it is important to analyze the grades required and the number of waiting lists for the course in previous years. In this way, students can understand their chances of being called up, as these points tend not to vary much in relation to previous years.
This can help in the sense that the deadline to seek an educational institution to find out about enrollment can be short, so there is some time to plan. In some universities it is possible to find the results of previous editions of Sisu, where candidates can check how many calls there were for each course and the grades of those approved.
