Unravel the illusion: which direction is this circle moving?

The exclusive premieres were announced by the company itself last Thursday (19). Critics of the initiative are divided between favorable and unfavorable films. The case portrays one of the most shocking and controversial crimes that happened in Brazil.

The director of both works is Maurício Eça. Also in 2018, the proposal was announced that would start recording a feature film about the crime.

Case Suzane Von Richthofen

In 2002, Manfred Albert von Richthofen and Marísia von Richthofen were murdered. The couple was killed by the Cravinhos brothers (Daniel and Cristian). The victims' own daughter was the one who planned and ordered the execution: Suzane Von Richthofen.

The girl was Daniel Cravinhos' girlfriend since 1999. The young people's courtship had no support from family members, especially from Suzane's parents. They even forbade her to meet with her boyfriend.

Suzane, her boyfriend and his brother then planned the death of the Richthofen couple. They simulated robbery and one of the objectives was to divide the very high inheritance that Suzane would receive.

On October 31, 2002, the daughter opened the doors of the mansion, in São Paulo, and allowed the Cravinhos to enter. Manfred and Marísia were killed with sledgehammer blows to the head.

At the time, the crime shocked Brazil and investigations began. Initially, it was believed that the case was a robbery, but soon the truth came out. The commotion was so great that TV Justiça considered broadcasting the trial live.

In all, 5,000 people signed up to watch the trial of those involved. Suzane and Daniel Cravinhos were sentenced to 39 years and 6 months in prison. Cristian Cravinhos was sentenced to 38 years and 6 months in prison.
