Entries for the Entrance Examination 2023 via Enem from the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) are open until February 14th and are completely free, that is, without charging any fee. The selection process is exclusively aimed at candidates who participated in an edition of Enem between 2013 and 2022, as the method of evaluation is the National High School Exam.
The IFMS informs that, to obtain the total score, the weighted average of the Enem scores is used. In addition, candidates must have received a score greater than zero on the writing test. Each area of knowledge has a different weight for calculating the total grade for each of the courses offered by the Institute, which can be checked in item 5.2.1 of the announcement, available here.

The classification of candidates will be carried out in descending order, according to the highest score received among the considered editions of the Enem, taking into account the candidate's quota option. The first call is scheduled to be released on February 16th, and registrations must be made between the 23rd of the same month and March 3rd.

It should be noted that half of the vacancies are reserved for candidates who studied in public schools throughout high school. Still, of these vacancies, 50% will be destined for those whose family income per person is less than one and a half minimum wages.
Finally, there are also quotas for self-declared black, brown and indigenous candidates, in addition to people with disabilities. To participate in these quotas, it is necessary to inform during the registration in the entrance exam.
