The vengeful couple booked the property for 25 days, but according to the owner, they spent the entire period traveling across the country, returning to the rented house every 5 days and taking a few minutes, a fact that caught the attention of the host.
When the rental period finally ended, the landlord went to check the house, noting the waste caused by the two Chinese.
He also says that representatives of the gas concessionaire called to try to find out the reasons for the significant increase in the consumption of cooking gas that was being noticed.
In addition to the US$ 116 for energy and US$ 730 for gas, the couple generated about US$ 728 in other expenses, adding up to a total of US$ 1576 (approximately R$ 7,957) in damage.
The owner of the property even contacted Airbnb to try to find a solution, but without success. According to the app's support service, this case would have to be resolved between the host and their guests.
Finally, the host tried to locate the couple, but they had already returned to China. In the end, the man had to pay the bills.
