The smell of stored clothes

When being stored in the closet for a long time, clothes tend to have an unpleasant smell. Sometimes, the only way out seems to be to put it in the wash again, however, we don't always remember to check it before we feel like using it.

The exact outfit for that cold day, but with the smell of storage. In some cases, when we have no option left, the only way out is to use it as it is, but there is the possibility of removing that smell quickly.

Here are some tips on how to get rid of that smell before putting on the clothes that were stored.

Some tips to remove the musty smell from clothes

  • Always clean the wardrobe

To avoid the smell of storage, it is important to always keep the wardrobe clean. Thus, it is important to pass a damp cloth with a little alcohol and vinegar on all parts of the cabinet regularly.

  • Don't make the closet too full.

Avoid leaving the closet too full if you have a lot of clothes. How about checking out the pieces you're not using and donating to some charity or, who knows, doing a virtual bazaar with your clothes and earning some extra money?

  • Chalk, cloves and essential oil

A good trick to ensure that your clothes keep a pleasant smell is to prepare a small bundle with pieces of chalk, cloves and a little bit of the essential oil of your choice. Leave it in the corner of each compartment and avoid bad smells.
