Thus, payments must take place between the 18th and 31st of each month, always following an organization rule by Social Identification Number (NIS). If you are a beneficiary or know someone who will receive the Auxílio Brasil, check out more details on payments and registration in this article.
Until the end of last year, the number of people enrolled in Auxílio Brasil was around 14 million. However, a large part of this number represented former subscribers to the Bolsa Família Program, which was replaced by the new program.
According to the government, the idea was precisely to expand the number of beneficiaries and deliver a value more than the old Bolsa Família. Until 2021, the program delivered to low-income families an average monthly amount of R$ 192. However, the amount could fluctuate between R$40, R$60 or R$80 per month.
With Auxílio Brasil, the amount rises to R$ 400. For January payments, the government announced that the queue has been zeroed, including another 3 million subscribers. Thus, the number of beneficiaries in January will be 17.5 million Brazilians.
As mentioned, payment dates will take place between the 18th and 31st of each month, with due changes. The organization of the schedule is based on the last digit of the NIS of the beneficiaries. So the January calendar looks like this:
Check the NIS number and then wait for payment on the set date, which must be made through the Caixa Tem application. That is, the amount will be deposited in Caixa Econômica Federal's digital social savings account on behalf of the beneficiaries.
