Candidates who are pre-selected must complete their application within five working days. The deadline will be counted from the day following the announcement of your pre-selection. In addition, they need to attend the CPSA of the higher education institution. They must validate the information provided in the application.
After validating the information, students must present the required documentation for the purpose of contracting the financing with the bank.
They must also appear before a financial agent within ten days. This deadline will be counted from the third working day immediately following the date of validation of the registration by the CPSA. The documentation required and specified in the regulations in force for hiring purposes must be taken. Once approved by the financial agent, the contracting of financing is authorized.
The new Fies is a student financing model that divides the program into different modalities. It provides zero interest to those most in need and a range of financing that varies according to the candidate's family income. The new Fies brings changes in the management of the fund, in order to give financial sustainability to the program.
Students who participated in the National High School Examination (Enem) from 2010 onwards can access the program, and has obtained an arithmetic average of the grades in the tests equal to or greater than 450 points and a grade higher than zero in the essay.
There is a modality with zero interest, for students with per capita family income of up to three minimum wages, and another with interest rates that vary according to the banking institution. The Fies can be requested by the student at any stage of the course.
