Even though the payment of Brazil Aid of July starts from the 18th, the gas voucher will not be paid in this month. That's because transfers happen on a bimonthly basis. The amount currently being paid corresponds to 50% of the total price of a 13kg gas cylinder. However, over the last week, Congress continued with discussions on the approval of a PEC by the Federal Government that provides for increased benefits in some social programs. Among the changes is the readjustment of the gas voucher, which should go from R$ 53 to R$ 120.
It is worth mentioning that the PEC presented in Congress does not intend to transform the aid into something to be paid monthly. In this way, if approved, the beneficiaries could earn the R$ 120 in the same way that is already happening, every two months, so that the first payment would only be in the month of August.
According to some rules, the payment of the gas voucher takes place together with the Auxílio Brasil payment. When screening new beneficiaries, the Federal Government follows certain guidelines, always seeking to make The following people are eligible: women victims of domestic violence who are under monitoring of protective measures of urgency; beneficiaries of Auxílio Brasil and with a registration qualified by the manager through the use of verification data, when available.
In addition, the government also makes eligible families registered in the CadÚnico who have the data updated in the last 24 months, that is, 2 years, and with a lower per capita income with a higher number of members.
Those who were unable to receive the initial payments for the gas voucher can try a new opportunity by linking to CadÚnico. Every month analyzes are carried out in the database, so that it is possible to add or remove users from the program.
