If the taxpayer's name is on the list, but a transfer is still not identified, the amount may have been prevented due to some error in the bank details, which may have happened due to a typing error at the time of the declaration. If there is inconsistency in the transfer, a new bank account can be added to the Bank of Brazil or the data may be corrected. The amounts that were not passed on are available for up to one year.

If it is not withdrawn within these 12 months, the amount must be requested through the e-CAC Portal, in the “Declarations and Demonstrations” tab. When you get there, you must click on the “My Income Tax” tab, completing the process on the “Request Refund not Redeemed on the Banking Network” tab.
