Central Bank announces new date for withdrawing "forgotten amounts"

As of May 2, there will be another opportunity for customers of financial institutions to withdraw their amounts that have been forgotten, according to official information from the Central Bank (BC). However, many people are still having doubts about the future value, if no one redeems it.

According to UOL, the Central Bank reported that the values ​​will be kept indefinitely until the owner asks to withdraw them. It is worth mentioning that the BC established a period for consultations and transfer requests, according to the date of birth, only to structure a demand organization.

Those who have already recovered some value in the first phase can still receive it again in the following situations:

1. Fee values ​​improperly charged;
2. Installments of credit operations improperly charged;
3. Finalized prepaid and postpaid payment accounts that had an available balance;
4. Registration accounts held by brokerage houses closed with balance;
5. Entities in extrajudicial liquidation;
6. FGC (Credit Guarantee Fund);
7. FGCoop (Credit Cooperative Guarantee Fund).
