The Instituto Palavra Aberta is a non-profit organization that defends the full freedom of ideas, thoughts and opinions.
Through its EducaMídia program, it aims to spread media education in Brazil, as well as provide support and tools for children and youth to develop the skills necessary to obtain information safely and responsible.
For this purpose, it works primarily with teachers and educators in Elementary and High School, with use of a media education curriculum aligned with the competencies provided for in the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC).
