To check the status of your document, just go to the Federal Revenue website. On the page, the taxpayer can submit the CPF number and date of birth. This way, you will know if there is any irregularity.
One of the reasons for the CPF to present irregularities may be because the taxpayer has not delivered any Income Tax Return for Individuals (IRPF) in the last five years, since the procedure is mandatory. In addition, the CPF can be canceled because the citizen had some type of multiplicity of inscriptions of the document or, even, by some administrative decision of the Federal Revenue Service or Judicial decision.
Regarding the suspension of the document, it can occur when the CPF has some wrong information or informational gaps in the data sent to the Revenue. In this sense, the suspension of the document can cause many problems to the taxpayer, among them: blocking of bank accounts, impediment when opening new accounts, loan restriction, impossibility of buying property and difficulties in receiving banknotes tax.
The regularization of the document can only be done online when the CPF presents the following questions: cancelled, suspended, invalid, blocked, irregular or inactive. In these cases, the regularization can be done through the Federal Revenue website, in the “How to regularize” tab.
Once on the page, the taxpayer must submit the full name, CPF number, cell phone number, date of birth and an active email. Soon, a regularization guide is generated, which must be paid via bank slip, and has the Regularization Guarantee (GR) of the CPF.
In this sense, an authorized accountant will analyze the regularization of the document. After 48 hours of payment of the guide, there is a return of the regularization, which usually goes to the citizen's e-mail.
However, if the citizen needs to make this regularization more quickly, after paying the bill, he can send the attached proof by email. The address to which the taxpayer must forward the paid bill is [email protected].
