Some animals react to threats in a way very similar to ours. When they realize they are in danger, they have two options: stay and fight or run as fast as possible! Both options require extra doses of oxygen in the blood and the use of energy reserves stored, mainly, in the muscles. As in humans, adrenaline is responsible for transmitting the signal to the organs to work more efficiently.
