Don Joaquim

Located in the region of Conceição do Mato Dentro, Dom Joaquim is a quiet town located approximately 200 km from the capital of Minas Gerais and attracts many tourists in search of rest and peace.

The municipality, which is part of the Serra do Cipó National Park Tourist Circuit, protects the Gameleira Environmental Preservation Area, which, with its trails, mountains and waterfalls, is conducive to the practice of extreme sports such as trekking, climbing, abseiling, mountain biking, off road, among others.
