The Income Tax (IR) declaration aims to inform the income of each citizen, whether for tax collection or not. That is, you must declare even if you don't have to pay. In addition, this statement is a way for the Federal Revenue to monitor the assets of Brazilians in the last year, such as the purchase of houses, cars, investments, etc.

In 2021, it was necessary to return the 2020 Emergency Aid, and this year the same will happen for those who received the benefit in 2021, with some changes. The purpose of this payment is to get people who were not entitled to Emergency Aid to return the money. Some people who declared the IR and had not paid the DARF for the benefit received the notification to make the return, and many have already done so. In addition, those who received the aid in parallel with another benefit, who signed up for the program and were already employed, among other situations, were also notified.
