NAME:
A wolf was feasting on dinner with a great appetite. Suddenly, a bone got stuck in his throat! He ran through the forest howling, in terrible pain. He begged every animal he knew to remove the bone from his throat and promised a great reward in return. However, none of the animals trusted him and they all turned their backs on him. However, a kindly heron took pity on him and told him to lie down on his side and open his mouth as wide as possible. The heron placed its slender neck deep in the wolf's throat and, with its long beak, dislodged the bone and removed it.
– Now, please give me the reward you promised! – asked the heron.
The cunning wolf replied:
You put your head deep in a wolf's mouth and you're still alive! That should be enough reward for you!
