Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl named Pearl. Every man in the village wanted to marry her. Only there was a wicked, uncouth sorcerer who also wanted to marry her. But Pearl didn't like him, she liked a boy who was very kind. The sorcerer decided to take Pearl away.
One day, when Pearl was sitting by a beautiful lake, she saw some beautiful fish swimming in the water. She started looking at them and was bewildered by their beauty. Suddenly the fish turned into monsters, they pulled her into the water. When the boy couldn't find Pearl, he and the villagers began looking for her. When they couldn't find her, the boy went to the lake, sat there and began to cry. At that moment, some fairies appeared and said:
– We know where Pearl is. Some water monsters took her away under the command of the evil sorcerer. She is trapped in her magic palace. We will take you there.
So the fairies took him to the magic palace at the bottom of the lake. The water monsters were guarding the palace gates. The fairies gave the boy a sword and a magic shield to fight the monsters.
The boy fought them bravely and entered the palace. In the center of a large room, he saw Pearl lying on a beautiful bed. She was sleeping under the sorcerer's spell.
The fairies said:
– The evil sorcerer has a magic potion that will wake up Pearl. You need to fight him to get the potion.
When the sorcerer saw the boy, he tried to cast a spell on him, but the shield saved him. The boy fought the sorcerer, using the magic sword, and finally defeated him. So, he broke Pearl's spell with the magic potion and took her home. The entire village saluted the boy for his bravery. Soon, Pearl married her hero and they lived happily ever after.
