NAME:
Men were sowing cotton and linen. Watching them, the Swallow said to the other birds:
– It will be for our evil what men are planting, because from these seeds will be born cotton and flax, then they will make snares and nets to bind us. It would be better for us to destroy whatever is being born so that we are safe.
The Other Birds laughed a lot and didn't want to take the advice.
Andorinha, seeing this, made peace with the men and went to live close to their houses.
After some time, the men made snares, nets and hunting tools, with which they started to trap the Other Birds, preserving the Swallow.
Moral: Prevention is better than cure.
