“Cryptocurrency donations can be useful: it's really easy, fast, cheap and safe. Also consider this method.”, published a user on his Twitter account.
However, many say that it might not be a good idea to accept cryptocurrencies:
“Do not donate cryptocurrencies. The value fluctuates too much to be useful in that sense. Cash has the most liquidity of any asset and therefore can be used more quickly.”
Due to the attack, cryptocurrencies plummeted a lot, it was 9% in a single day.
But other users are more concerned with other matters, such as FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried who commented about currency devaluation on his Twitter: “If you were in Ukraine right now, where would you trust your money? And more importantly, there may be war. This is very bad for the world. F*ck all that price stuff. Go out there and do something nice for someone.”
So far we know of 57 deaths as a result of the attack and several injured. And several images of attacks beyond Ukraine's military bases are already circulating.
