The deadline for Caixa Econômica Federal release the profits from FGTS it's August 31, with millions of workers entitled to receive part of the profits made in the year 2021.
Annually, the Board of Trustees of the FGTS determines the percentage of net income that will be distributed among Brazilians. Caixa announced last year that 96% of profits were distributed to 88.6 million workers. Check out more information below!

The additional value works as a kind of accounting, since the federal government uses the resources as a way of “loan” to be used in housing and public sector projects, when the worker keeps this money in the fund of guarantee.
In this sense, the FGTS profit is nothing more than the sum of the accruals gathered by the fund, which is multiplied through income and interest. Accumulated funds are distributed among benefited workers. This year, delivery times will be credited to those who have available balance up to the last availability day of 2021 (December 31).
All workers, whether employed or unemployed, will be able to receive profits obtained by the FGTS. The only requirement to receive it is to have a balance in the accounts on December 31, 2021.
