Mahatma Gandhi only wore a loincloth in order to identify with the simple masses of India.

Once, he arrived dressed like this, at a party given by the English governor. The servants would not let him in.

He returned home and sent a package to the governor, by messenger.

The governor called his house and asked him the meaning of the package.

The little big man replied:
