NAME:
Grandpa Jairus had an incredibly long beard. He once read in a book that men with long beards were fools.
– Oh! – said the old man, angrily. - I always thought my beard gave me a cult appearance. What a pity!
Instantly, he decided to get rid of the beard. He lit a candle and set it on fire. In the blink of an eye, it began to burn, until it was completely gone. Then grandpa's chin caught fire too! The smell of burning hair made the neighbors appear. They were alarmed to see the old man dancing from side to side, trying to erase his chin!
To make matters worse, a tiny spark came to the little hair he had on his head, which soon burned until he was completely bald! Before it got seriously burned, someone doused it with water and put out the fire.
– What loads of water are you trying to do? - Asked a lady, furious.
The man looked at her and said:
- I read in a book that men with long beards are fools and that's why I acted like one!
