NAME:

the crows and the falcon

There was once a group of crows who lived together. They had a king who was just and kind, but when their king died, the crows couldn't decide who would be their next king.
So they decided to do a flying competition. The one who flew the highest would become the king. Soon everyone was flying through the sky, each one thinking he was flying higher than the others.

They were unable to decide who was the winner. That's when one of them looked up and saw a hawk flying over them. At that moment, the other crows also saw the falcon and decided to make it their new king.
They asked the falcon to become their king and he agreed. Only the hawk wanted to devour the crows. Each day, he would kill one of them and eat it.
When the crows realized that they were decreasing in number, they went to the falcon to talk. The hawk attacked some of them again. Seeing this, the remaining crows realized their mistake and decided to go somewhere else.
