Ingredients

To start the cassava cake recipe, you will need to separate some ingredients, namely:

  • 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar;
  • 3 cups of coarsely grated cassava;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 1 tablespoon (soup) of baking powder;
  • 3 spoons of butter;
  • 1 package of 50g of grated coconut;
  • 1 and 1/2 cup wheat flour;
  • 1 package of 50g of grated cheese.

Method of preparation

The first step to making a delicious cassava cake is to beat the eggs, sugar, yeast and grated cassava flour in a mixer or in a separate container.

After beating for about 5 minutes, when the ingredients are very homogeneous, you must add the grated cheese along with the grated coconut. The next step is to grease the mold and place the baking sheet with the dough in the oven for about 40 minutes at 180ºC. Let it cool a little before unmolding the cassava cake.

Thus, your cake will be ready to be consumed and make your breakfast or afternoon snack more beautiful, nutritious and different.

Tip to evaluate when the cake is on point

Considering that some stoves have a lower power, one way to assess whether the cake is ready is by putting a toothpick in the dough and analyzing the texture when you remove it. That way, if the dough sticks to the toothpick, it means the cake isn't ready yet. However, if it comes out clean, you can take it out of the oven.
