the sock and the little boy

Once upon a time there was a small sock, which lived, in a little boy's closet. The little sock was quite alone, as her companion had not returned from a camping trip. Since the little boy couldn't wear a single sock, the little sock spent all its time fishing! She loved to fish!
Every morning, when the little boy left to go to school, the little sock would jump out of the closet and jump to the little stream with ripples, where he could fish all day!

One day, while she was busy fishing, another little boy saw her. This little boy did not go to school and, I am afraid to say, had very bad manners. He thought all the socks smelled bad, so when he saw the little sock, he held his nose and said:
– Eww!
However, the little sock was more than clean and was very offended. She started to cry softly. The little boy was surprised! A small sock could fish? Could a small sock cry?
The boy was so sorry for hurting the little sock's feelings that he even promised to fish with her every day.
