WhatsApp is developing a new function called “Communities”. The purpose of the tool is to bring together several groups in a single section, so that administrators can manage them more easily and in an organized way. The feature was released by a specialized blog called WABetaInfo, in the code of the messenger's test version, but this function is not yet available for beta users. Therefore, check below what is known so far about the whatsapp communities!

It is important to point out that, as this is a resource still in the testing phase, several aspects of the function may suffer modifications until the date of its final release in the stable version of the messages.
The name "Community" refers to the late times of Orkut forums and Facebook groups, but the WhatsApp tool promises to be very different. This is because the idea is to facilitate the administration of several groups at once, so the function is more for management than for interaction between users.
That is, the community would be a separate section of the app that would bring together all the groups created for the same purpose. For example, you can create different group chats to do a college project. In that sense, their organization would be within a community, so admins can keep track of all activities on a single page.
The community should also provide some unique features to admins. So far, it is only known that they will be able to send messages to all groups at once, which makes it easier to send ads via WhatsApp, for example.
Another novelty is that it is possible to add contacts to the community with link invitations or by selecting them manually through the application's agenda. In addition, it follows the same operation as group chats, with the option to reset a link or send an invitation via QR Code.
