Sebrae announced the opening of an investment program in entrepreneurship and innovation projects. According to a note from the entity itself, the objective is to “consolidate what is most disruptive in the country and promote its inclusion in an international innovation management platform”.
How to participate?
Anyone who has a project or company and wants to participate in the program must have a startup or participate in an ICTs (Science and Technology Institutions). Then, you must register on the program's website and check the rules available in the program's Public Notice.
What are innovation environments?
Innovation environments are those where there is development of projects capable of combining science and technology with the market. The capacity to undertake is necessary, to promote cooperation between research and the market or between companies and the government.
According to CNI's Director of Innovation, Gianna Sagazio:
“Support for mapping Brazilian disruptive technologies will allow for the country's international insertion and visibility. Showing the world Brazil as an innovative country is a priority for both the CNI and the Business Mobilization for Innovation.”
This is already the second public call for the partnership between Sebrae and CNI. Its duration will be 3 years and its objective is to open 6 calls for innovation projects in total. The first call took place in November last year and offered digital training programs for startups.
The award will be given to 7 companies that will receive a 10-day residency and training program in New York, scheduled for June this year.
