If important documents were lost in the app, this is how you get them back:
First, remember that WhatsApp has an automatic backup function that saves media on Google Drive (for those who use Android) or iCloud (for those using iOS), however it is important that the function is activated before the user decides to delete the items. So, don't forget to activate it!
After that, to recover your documents, you need to tap on the three dots in the upper corner of the application's main screen. Go to “Settings”. Go to “Chats”, scroll down and look until you find the “Chat backup” option. Enable, if disabled. Check the information about the last backups performed.
