How to participate?

According to the rules of the Federal Government benefit, only those families that fit the following criteria will be approved:

  • In a situation of extreme poverty, that is, with a monthly income of up to R$ 105 per person;
  • Within the poverty range, that is, with a per capita monthly income between R$ 105 and R$ 210. However, these must have, in their constitution, pregnant women, nursing mothers, children and young people from 0 to 21 years of age.

Enrollment in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) is also essential for approval in the program. Therefore, the data must always be updated within the two-year period. This registration must be made at the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS), which are spread across Brazilian municipalities. However, larger cities have more than one of these centers to better meet the demand of the population, and in these cases, those interested should go to the CRAS closest to their neighborhood.

However, registering with CadÚnico is not a guarantee that citizens will have access to the Federal Government program. Therefore, to be entitled to the values of the Aid Brazil, the interested party must:

  • Have registration, carried out by the city hall, in the Single Register of Social Programs of the Federal Government;
  • Be chosen by the Ministry of Citizenship;
  • Be within the income margins determined by the coordination of the social program.
