I loved it! I will adapt to my reality!
This lesson plan aims to work on identity and autonomy in early childhood education. Activities can also be enhanced even more, just use your creativity.
Lesson Plan Theme: Building our own identity
Worked book: “Maria Vai With Others” by Sylvia Orthoff.
Justification
Working with the story ‘Maria Vai Com as Others’, which will make it possible to show the children that each one has its own identity, your opinion and that we cannot do the things that others do without thinking/questioning if this is good for us or do not.
General objectives
– Awaken in students a taste for literature.
– Stimulate creativity and imagination.
– Reflect on identity (Who am I?)
1st moment: Reading of the poem ‘Identity’ by Pedro Bandeira. Another suggestion: ‘O nome da gente’, also by Pedro Bandeira. At the wheel, talk about the poems and the identity of each child.
2nd moment: Reading the book Maria Vai Com as Outros – Sylvia Orthoff
After telling the story “Maria Vai With Others”, talk about Maria's attitudes. Why did Mary follow everything the other sheep did? What happened to Mary to stop following everything the other sheep did? Do you follow everything your colleagues do?
3rd moment: Bowling game.
Build a pet bottle bowling, using a design of a sheep glued to the bottle.
Rules: Form teams to play (team A, B, C and D). Play the ball to knock down the pins/sheep; Draw up a chart with the amount of points obtained by each child/or team. The child/or team with the most points will win.
4th Moment: Theater/Dramatization/Puppets/eva book
Role-play the story “Maria Vai Com as Others” using puppets, finger puppets, story aprons or any other resource you prefer.
5th Moment: Finishing with scrap shop
A lovely suggestion is to make your group little sheep in the pet bottle and fill them with treats or popcorn. After the party, the idea still serves as a trinket.
How to make the pet bottle sheep:To make the sheep in the image you will need a disposable bottle cut at the height that you like, white terry EVA, plain brown EVA (for the paws) and skin color EVA (for the little face).
In order for the EVA to go around the bottle correctly, cut it to the correct size and go on gluing and shaping it with your hands very tight around the bottle. Glue with hot glue. Right after glue the paws and head. And finally, make the sheep's face (the nose, the little mouth and the eyes), apply a little pink blush on the cheeks, and if you want, put little bows on the ears.
Tip: You can also reuse other recycled materials to make souvenirs such as todynho boxes, weed cups and others.
OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
1-Poster of the story in EVA
2- Popcorn sheep to hang
You will need:
Cardboard or cardboard, white popcorn, tape, glue
3- Popcorn bag with a sheep face
To make a popcorn holder you will need:
4-You can also assemble a storybook on paper, eve or felt.
ASSESSMENT: Carefully monitor the involvement of students during the proposed activities, games, games and theatrical presentation.
Extra: Dynamics and Play
1- Sheep and Shepherd
Spacious place
Objective: The shepherd reach the sheep.
Rules:
Form a wheel hand in hand. The sheep is in the center and the shepherd is outside.
Given the signal, the shepherd must take the sheep.
The wheel should make it difficult for the shepherd to pass and facilitate the passage of the sheep.
It's only worth using to escape the wheel's help when leaving and entering it.
When the sheep is grabbed, it goes to the wheel, the shepherd becomes a sheep and another shepherd is chosen. Ends when interest ends.

2- Lost Sheep's Game
A child is chosen and blindfolded. A stick is placed in your hand while the others form a circle around you. The blind man points with his stick and asks: "Are you my lost sheep?" The person appointed must take the stick and bring it close to your mouth and bleat it, disguising your voice, but if recognized it should take the place of the blind. Each time this happens, players change places so that their position is not recognized.
