The story is very cool, I'll pass it on to a girl who is learning the Portuguese language.
beautiful girl in the ribbon bow
Once upon a time there was a beautiful, beautiful girl.
Her eyes looked like two shiny black olives, her hair curled and very black.
Her skin was dark and lustrous, like the black panther's fur in the rain.
On top of that, her mother liked to braid her hair and decorate it with colorful ribbons. She looked like a princess from the lands of Africa, or a fairy from the Moonlight Kingdom.
And, there was a very white rabbit, with red eyes and a nervous snout always twitching. The rabbit thought the girl the most beautiful person he had ever seen.
And I thought:
– Ah, when I get married I want to have a little black and beautiful daughter like her…
So one day he went to the girl's house and asked:
– Beautiful girl with ribbon bow, what is your secret for being so black?
The girl didn't know, but she made it up:
– Oh, it must be because I fell in black ink when I was little…
The rabbit got out of there, looked for a can of black paint and bathed in it. It was very black, all happy. But then a rain came and washed away all that black, it turned white again.
So he went back to the girl's house and asked again:
– Beautiful girl with ribbon bow, what is your secret for being so black?
The girl didn't know, but she made it up:
- Oh, it must be because I had a lot of coffee when I was little.
The rabbit left and drank so much coffee that he lost sleep and spent the entire night peeing. But nothing was left black.
– Beautiful girl with ribbon bow, what's your secret for being so black?
The girl didn't know, but she made it up:
– Ah, it must be because I ate a lot of jabuticaba when I was little.
The rabbit left and stuffed itself with jabuticaba until it was heavy, unable to move. The most he could do was make a lot of black and round coconut like jabuticaba. But nothing was left black.
So he went back to the girl's house and asked again:
– Beautiful girl with ribbon bow, what is your secret for being so black?
The girl didn't know and… She was already making up something else, a feijoada story, when her mother, who was a beautiful and smiling mulatto woman, decided to get involved and said:
– Arts of a black grandmother she had…
Then the rabbit, who was silly, but not so silly, saw that the girl's mother must really be telling the truth, because we always look like our parents, uncles, grandparents and even crooked relatives.
And if he wanted to have a daughter, black and beautiful like the girl, he had to look for a black rabbit to marry.
He didn't have to look far. Soon she found a little rabbit, dark as night, who thought that white rabbit was cute.
They were dating, getting married and had a litter of puppies, that rabbit, when it starts to have a puppy, it doesn't stop anymore! She had rabbits of all colors: white, spotted white on black, spotted black on white and even a very black rabbit. You know, goddaughter of that pretty girl who lived next door.
And when the bunny came out with a colored bow around her neck, she always found someone who asked:
– Cute bunny with ribbon bow, what's your secret for being so black?
And she answered:
– Advice from my godmother's mother…
