Bill 193/22 is under analysis in the Chamber of Deputies, which provides for the transfer of at least 1% of the benefits contained in the constitutional funds, to support the regions of the North, Northeast and Midwest. With the planning of constitutional funds being approved, the economic and social scope of these regions will develop further, and contribute to the productive sector. In addition, Funcap will provide support to the citizens of these regions, regarding areas at risk, or even the recovery of places affected by disasters.
It is worth mentioning that this money used will only go to those regions in a situation of public calamity or emergency, due to the occurrence of rains, floods, flooding, drought, among other reasons that affect the phenomena environmental.
Currently, the amount contained in these constitutional funds is equivalent to R$ 17.9 billion, through the Federal Budget. This number was calculated by Deputy Vicentinho Junior (PL-TO), who is the author of the proposal.
Finally, he also complements by saying that he intends to allocate at least R$ 179 million to Funcap as emergency aid, to municipalities affected by natural tragedies.
