According to official information released, currently, there is a total of R$ 208 million in resources. As for the amount received by each employee, this will be determined by the number of months worked with a formal contract in 2019, as well as by the minimum wage in effect in the year the allowance is released, which in this case is R$ 1,100, taking into account the national minimum wage in 2021.
To be entitled to the allowance, the beneficiary must be enrolled in the PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years and have his/her data informed to the RAIS (Annual List of Personal Information) by his/her employer. In addition, another factor that must be taken into account to guarantee the value of the benefit is having formally worked for at least 30 days in 2019, with a remuneration of up to two salaries minima.
To redeem the PIS/Pasep 2019 base year bonus, a formal issuance request will be required. This can be done in two ways: virtually, by e-mail: [email protected], at which you should replace the letters “uf” with the abbreviation of your state – for example, [email protected]; or face-to-face, so just go to the units of the Ministry of Labor in your state. Thus, you can choose the best way to access the value of the PIS/Pasep benefit for the year 2019.
