The most recent information about the future of “Round 6” came from Minyoung Kim, executive at Netflix in Asia. Kim also said that Netflix is also looking into creating consumer products based on the series.
As for a second season, Netflix and the “Round 6” director and producer are still in talks about that as of press time.
“Round 6” is a survival drama series that you can watch on Netflix. The show's nine episodes focus on a game with 456 contestants vying for a cash prize.
Contestants have to go through various childish games that have fatal consequences for those who fail to complete them.
The series stars Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon, and Jung Ho-yeon, among others.
A "Round 6" video game is being considered by streaming giant Netflix, according to a report by PC Gamer.
According to the report, Netflix Asia executive Minyoung Kim said that Netflix is looking into a video game adaptation of the South Korean series. Netflix is also considering creating consumer products based on “Round 6”.
PC Gamer's report notes that Kim didn't provide any details about the video game, should it be greenlit by Netflix.
