The benefit was named rain aid and requires families to register in the program. According to the state government, city halls of 33 municipalities have declared an emergency situation due to heavy rains in the region.
So between the days June 10th and 15th, the payment of the first installment can now be made to the families of these cities through the Caixa Econômica Federal.
The registration of families was under the responsibility of the city halls of the municipalities affected. For this, they used the same templates as other programs and data collected by the municipal and state Civil Defenses, which will have the role of supervising and inspecting the measure. The same program is already present in Pernambuco, for example, which was also very affected by heavy rains. In the state, more than 20 thousand families received aid of R$ 2,500.
Including, the deadline to include the registration of beneficiary families was until last Monday (6). In that case, the names of the members of each family nucleus should be entered into a system developed by the State Secretariat for Assistance and Social Development.
Furthermore, it is important to note that people in situations of greater vulnerability, such as in cases of extreme poverty, will occupy a priority place in the queue for payment. In addition, those who are enrolled in the Cadastro Único already skip some steps in the identification process, which can also speed up the deposit of the benefit.
