INSS inclusion aid is an incentive

Inclusion and accessibility policies have the main objective of inserting or maintaining people with special needs in the labor market, stimulating the employability of people who are often seen as ''less capable'' because they have a physical disability or intellectual. In addition, they engage the movement of the economy with the increase in the purchasing power of this public.

Who can receive this government benefit?

Citizens eligible to receive the benefit are Brazilian citizens with disabilities who receive or have already received the Continuous Provision Benefit (BPC).

What are the criteria for receiving the benefit?

Although the amount can be released for people with disabilities who have already received the BPC and no longer receive it, there is a limit: Only those who received it in the last five years can apply for the benefit. In addition, these are the following requirements for applying for assistance:

• The disability must be proven by issuing a detailed medical report;
• Having received the BPC in the last five years or having the benefit interrupted during the same period;
• Not being included in the list of credit protection bodies (not having a "dirty name");
• Be in a family whose family income does not exceed 2 minimum wages per capita;
• Have an up-to-date registration in the Single Registry of the Federal Government;
• Be enrolled in the General Social Security System or municipal and state social security;
• Prove that you are engaged in a remunerated activity.

How do I apply for the benefit?

The aid can be requested through the My INSS application and the deadline to find out if it has been approved is 30 working days after the request. But don't worry: You can track your order through the App. For that:

• Download the My INSS app and log in;
• Select the option "New Order";
• Search for "Inclusion Aid" and select the "benefit" option;
• Enter your data and click on continue until the registration is confirmed;
• If you want to track your order, go to the home page and look for "Check orders".
