As of June 17, more than 5.5 million families should receive the aid, which aims to pay half the cost of a gas cylinder. In this sense, Vale Gás is intended for families registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) or who have a member who receives the Benefit of Continuous Provision (BPC).
In the month of May, the average price of the cooking gas cylinder registered in the country was R$ 112.90, according to a collection carried out between 01/05 and 27/05/2022. The price survey is updated weekly.
The calculation for defining the value of Vale Gás is based on an average of 6 months, therefore, the value of the next payment must be between R$ 52 and R$ 56. See below the amounts paid in the three previous installments of Vale Gás so far:
The query for the benefit uses the same database as the Auxílio Brasil. Therefore, the beneficiary can make the consultation through the program's application, through the Caixa Tem app or through the number 111, which is from Caixa Assistance.
If you choose to consult the Auxílio Brasil app, be aware that you will need to inform your CPF number, and you will have access to various information about the benefits. By accessing the tool, you can check the status of the aid, the amount of the next installment and also the date on which the amount will be deposited in your account.
At Caixa Tem, you can consult your NIS number, the Vale Gás and Auxílio Brasil benefit, as well as your salary allowance. In addition, it is possible to take out loans in the amount of up to R$ 1,000 through the Income and Opportunity program, recently launched by the federal government.
