Shantala
Shantala is a massage of Indian origin suitable for babies. It was brought to the West by the French physician Frederick Leboyer. The main objective of this ancient technique is to expand the moments of contact with the child and strengthen affective bonds, working on integration, exchange of affection and awakening trust.
It relaxes and soothes, relieving cramps and belly pressure and has the characteristic of making the baby have memories of intrauterine movements, when the amniotic fluid that surrounded her as a fetus, massaged her with small contractions.
Play activities have a fundamental role in structuring the child's psyche, it is in the act of play that the child uses elements of fantasy and reality and begins to distinguish the real from the imaginary. It is through playfulness that she not only develops her imagination, but also bases affections, elaborates conflicts and anxiety, explores skills and, as it takes on multiple roles, fertilizes cognitive and interactive.
Through playfulness, the child structures and builds his inner and outer world. At playful activities they can be considered as a means by which the child achieves his first great achievements, that through pleasure, he expresses himself, his emotions and fantasies.
PsychomotricityPsychomotricity significantly contributes to the formation and structuring of the body schema and Its main objective is to encourage the practice of movement in all stages of a child's life. Through the activities, the children, in addition to having fun, create, interpret and relate to the world in which they live. Therefore, more and more educators recommend that the games and games occupy a prominent place in the school program from the earliest moments of education.
