Retirees, pensioners and other insured persons of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) remain uncertain about the release of the 14th salary. The proposal creates an extra Christmas bonus for the group, since the payment of its 13th was anticipated in 2020 and 2021.
Bill 4367 was recently approved by the Finance and Taxation Commission (CFT) of the Chamber of Deputies, raising the hopes of millions of families. Now, the text is being analyzed by the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ).

The anticipation of the 13th INSS salary was a measure adopted to minimize the effects of the group's Covid-19 pandemic. However, she left policyholders without the amount they need to end the year more peacefully.
For it to be released, the project still needs the approval of the CCJ and the Federal Senate. If there is no change in the text, it will depend only on the sanction of President Jair Bolsonaro.
However, considering the proximity of the end of the year and the focus of the federal government on the Auxílio Brasil program, it is unlikely that the measure will be implemented in 2021. The forecast at the moment is that the money will be released in March of the years 2022 and 2033.
The proposal provides for the payment of an extra allowance for retirees, pensioners and beneficiaries of sickness allowance, accident allowance and prison allowance. Those who receive BPC (Continued Provision Benefit) and other benefits that do not generate 13th salary would be left out of the program.
The payment amount will be equivalent to up to two minimum wages, regardless of the monthly remuneration of the insured person. With the readjustment scheduled for 2022, the national floor could reach R$ 1,210.44, its biggest increase in the last six years.
