The allowance for the year 2020 will be paid in 2022, while the one for 2021 is scheduled for 2023. In addition, it will be possible to withdraw the PIS/Pasep Fund, which is a benefit paid only once in the lives of workers who worked with a formal contract and refers to the PIS/Pasep quota fund.
Those who meet the following requirements may receive the PIS/Pasep this year: they worked with a formal contract in 2020, they received it for at least 30 days of work that year; earned up to two monthly minimum wages on average and have been enrolled in the PIS/Pasep for five years or more.
In order to know the amount paid to each worker, just divide the current value of the minimum wage. That is, BRL 1,212 for 12 (twelve months) and then multiply by the number of months worked in the year 2020.
As for the PIS/Pasep fund, all workers who worked with a formal contract in the period between 1971 and October 4, 1988 can withdraw it. In this sense, payment will be made at lottery boxes, Caixa Aqui correspondents and at self-service terminals, using the Citizen Card.
However, if the value of the benefit is greater than R$ 3 thousand, it is necessary to go to a Caixa Econômica branch to make the withdrawal. Moreover, if the beneficiary in question has died, his heirs can also withdraw at the aforementioned locations.
Therefore, people who meet both the requirements to withdraw the PIS/Pasep, and those who can receive the PIS/Pasep fund, will be able to make these two withdrawals in 2022.
The PIS consultation can be done through the Digital Work Card application, which is available for Android and iOS devices. In addition, the gov.br portal and the call center Alô Trabalhador nº 158 are also available for consultation.
As for Pasep, beneficiary civil servants can check their balance on the Consult your Pasep page. You can also consult the Banco do Brasil Call Center number, 4004-0001, for capitals and metropolitan regions, or 0800 729 0001, for the interior.
