I really enjoyed the activities and I use them to help my students learn literacy.
We selected some activities with the syllables DA DE DI DO DU. Teachers start teaching right at the beginning of reading, so they can take advantage of this moment and work with short texts and ask students to circle the words that have the syllables DA DE DI DO DU. We have included a short text as an example for teachers to enjoy in the classroom. Another tip is dictation, it's great for students to practice.

VIVIANE'S SHIP
VIVIANE'S FATHER MADE HER A BEAUTIFUL SHIP OF COLORED PAPER.
THE SHIP WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL!
VIVIANE HANGED THE SHIP ON A WOOL THREAD AND SET IT ON THE LAKE.
THE SHIP TURNED MANY TURNS, TOUCHED BY THE WIND.
THEN VIVIANE PULLED THE WOOL THREAD, TAKEN THE SHIP AND, HAPPY, TOOK IT HOME.
VIVIANE LIKED THE GIFT FROM DAD A LOT!
