Amounts that reach more than R$ 1 billion are used to pay INSS debts, originated in the revisions of retirement, aid, pensions and other benefits.
RPVs are payments with a limit of up to 60 minimum wages.
The amounts will be deposited by the Courts in accounts opened at Banco do Brasil or Caixa Econômica Federal, in the name of the share holder.
The review of INSS benefits can help retirees and pensioners who wish to request a review of their retirement and pension calculation to receive a higher amount on their payroll. According to Law 8213/91, the INSS has a period of 45 days to analyze the request. However, the period may be extended for more than 45 days.
Those who request a retirement review and have a positive response can receive real sums, as well as precatories, which are those amounts above 60 minimum wages.
Those who choose to review the INSS in the administrative form will be able to follow up on their request through the my INSS website and go to the “Agendamentos/Requirementos” options.
