Tourists DETONATE this Brazilian city: “one of the worst in…

The most worrying thing about this whole situation is that, together, the applications with viruses already had more than two million downloads on Google Play.

According to Dr. Web, all applications were infected with adware, viruses that operate unwanted advertisements on smartphones where they are installed.

Although they do not pose as great a risk as malware and other types of cyber viruses, adware is operated by malicious hackers who make money illicitly through artificially generated advertisements on people's cell phones victims.

Generally, adware “pushes” the user to prohibited sites, a practice that is expressly prohibited by Google. Because of this, Google Play has strict defense mechanisms against this type of threat.

The list of infected applications

If you have any of these apps installed on your smartphone or tablet, uninstall them immediately.

  • Super Skibydi Killer – (1,000,000 downloads).

  • Agent Shooter – (500,000 downloads);

  • Rainbow Stretch – (50,000 downloads).

  • Rubber Punch 3D – (500,000 downloads).

  • Eternal Maze – (50,000 downloads);

  • Jungle Jewels – (10,000 downloads);

  • Stellar Secrets – (10,000 downloads);

  • Fire Fruits – (10,000 downloads);

  • Cowboy’s Frontier – (10,000 downloads)

  • Enchanted Elixir – (10,000 downloads);

  • Love Emoji Messenger – (50,000 downloads);

  • Beauty Wallpaper HD – (1,000 downloads)

As you can see, many of the applications identified by Dr. Web as carrying adware are games, some of them very popular.

On the other hand, some applications are not as popular in Brazil. Either way, it's worth scanning your device for these applications, eliminating them if necessary.
