payment schedule

According to the official payment schedule, the PIS/Pasep benefit is expected to start on February 8 for all citizens born in January. However, it is important to note that this release of the benefit refers to the year 2020.

Furthermore, the end of payments is scheduled for March 31, when the portion of eligible workers who were born in December will be made available.

Phone number released to consult PIS/Pasep

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the number for the aptitude consultation is 0800 726 0207.

However, there are some rules that citizens need to follow in order to receive information via telephone. When calling, the worker must have the CPF number in hand and inform the full name and date of birth. After this first part, you will need to answer some questions asked by the attendant so that your identity is confirmed.

In addition, there is a specific contact for workers who have a hearing impairment. They should contact the number 0800 726 2492.

Such telephones will be available for consultations from Monday to Saturday. However, be aware of the opening hours. Check out:

  • From Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 21:00;
  • On Saturday, the center will be open from 10 am to 4 pm;
  • On Sundays, the phone is not available.

Workers who are entitled to the PIS/Pasep benefit are all those in the public and private sector who worked for at least 30 days in 2020. Therefore, if you have performed paid work for just one month, the amount to be received is R$ 101. With that, for each month worked more, the value increases by R$ 101. Those who worked the 12 months are entitled to R$ 1212, which is the total amount of the minimum wage.
