Albertino Soares da Silva started working at the company in October 2017 cleaning Formaer planes, including those used to transport and spray pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals to farmers. According to the testimony of the former employee, which is recorded in the case file, the company was not supplying personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly. He also claimed that he was responsible for having to throw poison in order to clear the grounds of the workshop shed.
In addition to having contracted a strong skin allergy, Albertino reported that he ended up developing a condition coughing, a lot of headache and a lot of difficulty breathing due to contact with the pesticides. An expert report was made and attested to the presence of herbicides in the blood.
Albertino was removed from work for almost four months, between May and September 2019, receiving the INSS benefit. As soon as he returned, he was placed in the same activity that had caused his health problems. After many absences, he ended up being fired for abandoning his job in October of that year.
