The Federal Government released the extraordinary FGTS withdrawal (Employment Time Guarantee Fund) of up to R$ 1,000. According to data from the State, around 42 million Brazilians who have accounts at Caixa Tem will be able to make withdrawals.

Who will be able to withdraw money from Caixa Tem?

Firstly, it is important to point out that, with these withdrawals, the government will be able to invest around 30 billion in the Brazilian economy. Secondly, it is necessary to clarify that these amounts will be made available to Brazilians with active and inactive FGTS accounts.

Only those who used the FGTS as collateral in credit operations will not be entitled to this benefit. To withdraw this amount is quite simple, as the whole process will take place online through the Caixa Tem application. Check out the step-by-step below.

Step by step to release your amount in Caixa Tem

To access the amount to be withdrawn, you must open your account in the Caixa Tem application and perform the following actions:

• If you don't have the app installed on your cell phone, search for Caixa Tem in the App Store or Google Play on iPhones and Androids, respectively;
• Then enter the application and click on “Register”;
• Then, some data will be necessary to enter your account, such as CPF, full name, telephone number, date of birth, zip code and email;
• Create a 6-digit password to protect your online account;
• Now, you will need to enter the email you registered and look for a message from Caixa to grant access to Caixa Tem;
• The last step is to validate your cell phone number in the Caixa Tem application.

Okay, now you can request the withdrawal of the amount released for you. Don't worry about going to the bank or standing in line for hours to access this money, as the entire process will be done online. The deposit will take place in the Caixa Tem digital savings account and will start on April 20th and run until June 15th of the same year.
