A donkey was eating when he saw a hidden wolf spying on everything he did. Realizing he was in danger, the donkey devised a plan to save his skin. He pretended he was limping with the greatest difficulty. When the wolf appeared, the crying donkey said that he had stepped on a sharp thorn.
“Oh, oh, oh! Please get the thorn out of my paw! - begged. “If you don't, he'll skewer your throat when you swallow me.
The wolf didn't want to choke on his lunch. So when the donkey raised its paw, it began to look for the thorn very carefully. At that moment, the donkey gave the biggest kick of its life and ended the wolf's joy. While the wolf got up all in pain, the donkey galloped contentedly away.
