Read:

big foot, bigger heart

It was a very hot day.

Everyone was looking for some kind of refreshment, so an ice cream parlor seemed to be a good option.

A little girl walked into the store holding her money tight.

Before she could say a word, the owner, angry, told her to go out and read the sign on the door, and to stay outside until she put on a shoe.

She left slowly.

A big man followed her out of the store.

He saw her stand in front of the door and read the sign: Do not enter barefoot.

Tears began to roll down her cheeks.

So the man called her.

They sat on the sidewalk, he took off his size 45 shoes, and put them in front of the little girl saying, “Here, you won't be able to walk with them, but if you drag them in there you can take your Ice cream."

He picked up the little girl and put her on.

"No need to hurry," he said, "I get tired of dragging my feet in my shoes, and it'll be nice to sit here eating my ice cream."

It was impossible not to notice the gleam in the little girl's eyes as she shuffled over to the counter to place her order.

The man was big.

Big belly, big shoes, but most of all, he had a big heart.

Legalism kills and makes life difficult. Sensitivity to the needs of others blesses.
