In this edition, 100,000 vacancies were offered in the zero interest modality. In addition, there were 450,000 grants in the P-Fies modality. Both modalities have only one call.

Ministry of Education releases first call for Prouni 2023
Those who are pre-selected in the zero interest modality must fill in all the necessary information in FiesSeleção. The application period will be from February 26 to March 7, 2019.
Those approved by the P-Fies must verify the procedures with the financial credit operators. The procedures with higher education institutions should also be checked.
In the zero interest modality, those who were not selected will be automatically included in the waiting list. In the P-Fies modality there is no waiting list.
The purpose of Fies is to finance tuition fees for private institutions. The modality with zero interest is for students with a family income of up to three minimum wages.
The P-Fies is intended for students with a family income of up to five minimum wages. The modality works with resources from the Constitutional and Development funds and with resources from participating private banks.
Students who have taken the National High School Examination (Enem), as of the 2010 edition, and obtained an average score equal to or greater than 450 in the tests can participate in the program. In addition, they cannot have zeroed the wording.
Partial scholarship recipients of the University for All Program (ProUni), that is, those who have a 50% scholarship monthly fee, can participate in the Fies selection process and finance the portion of the monthly fee not covered by handbag.
